| Smart return-plunger increases pressure surface Holmatro’s new double-acting locknut cylinders offer significant advantages in safety, maintenance and durability. The cylinders are equipped with a smart return-plunger instead of the usual stop ring. This unique construction increases the pressure surface, resulting in more power with a smaller diameter. By making use of integrated safety valves, the cylinders are protected extra against overpressure on the return side. Multiple‐start thread is provided on the plunger for positioning the locknut quickly. Dirt on the plunger can be removed more easily because of the rounded thread. All cylinders are optimal wear resistant and corrosion protected. Standard and custom made models available Holmatro offers a total of 12 standard models with 4 different capacities: 50, 100, 150 and 250 tons, and 3 different stroke lengths: 50, 150 and 300 mm. All with a maximum side load resistance of 10%. Lower closed height by using a maximum side load resistance of 5% is available on request. Besides the standard models, Holmatro also offers custom made double-acting locknut cylinders. In collaboration with you we develop specially made cylinders for the specific job of your customer. |
